CAŅAMAN

 

Caņaman is one of Spain's most recognised Reggae bands with thirteen years of experience at its back.


Caņaman first recording "Caņaman" (1997) was the presentation of the band and received many positive reviews from all the medias.


In 2000 "Cambio de Vida", second album , brought the band to new heights.
Apart from Reggae the band included a taste of Soul and Funk.


Third CD "Lo mejor de Caņaman" (2001) is mostly a compilation, based on TVE's (Spanish Television) production of the album first song.

 

"Fronteras" (2004) is the way to get a deepest sound recording enterely in Jamaica with big artists as Capleton, Marcia Griffiths, Anthony B,  Louie Kulcha or Sly & Robbie. 

Sly & Robbie are also co-producers in the Cd. 

 

"Dub, Weed & Fyah" (2006) is the brand new Cd from the band.

This time recorded in Madrid but mixed in Jamaica and mastered in London.

A double Cd with plenty of Dubs and featuring Junior Kelly, Frisco Kid and Bongo Hermann.

The second Cd is a Dub version "Caņaman meets Fatta".

 

Caņaman has shared stages with artists such as The Wailers, Alpha Blondi, Anthony B, Pato Banton,The Tamlins, Culture, Rita Marley, Desmond Decker, UB 40, Albert Griffiths and the Gladiators, Luciano... in Spain, Germany, France, Portugal, Slovania, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
